FEATURED EVENT: MARIE EQUI ON OPB
Oregon Public Broadcasting presents a profile of Portland's Marie Equi, activist, lesbian, and radical, beginning in March 2023. The program includes an extensive interview with biographer Michael Helquist. It was broadcast within the OPB region at 9pm, March 20 and continues to stream on its website at www.opb.org/show/oregonexperience/ and on YouTube (search OPB Marie Equi).

Past events
We’ve taken MARIE EQUI to 60 different venues from coast to coast since the September 2015 publication date. In Portland, Eugene, San Francisco, Berkeley, Los Angeles, Boston, and New Bedford, we’ve engaged with audiences at book stores, universities, book fairs, historical societies, museums, and even at health clinics and a turn at street theater.
We’ve also been interviewed in a half dozen radio and cable TV interviews. A number of publications have given MARIE EQUI rave reviews, including the Western Historical Quarterly, Oregon Historical Quarterly, Bay Area Reporter, Eugene Weekly, The Seattle Lesbian, and the Windy City Times.
