Today I received a sweet note from a reader about her discovery of my biography of Marie Equi. She agreed to allow me to share it with you:

Your book intrigued me because I had never heard of Dr. Equi. I have been unemployed since January and was disappointed I could not afford to purchase your book at that time. I showed the flier I picked up about your book to my sister and was delighted when she gave it to me for my birthday. “I could not put it down. First, I think it is incredibly sad that Dr. Equi is not more well- known and has been hidden in the shadows until now. What an incredible woman. She was inspirational.
